Reds lose Schebler to DL with shoulder sprain

BLOG_POSTED_BY Tony Smith     July 19, 2018
One on the hotter hitters within the Reds' lineup will open 4 seasons's second half around the disabled list. On Wednesday, Cincinnati placed outfielder Scott Schebler within the 10-day DL, retroactive to Sunday, having a sprained acromioclavicular (AC) joint in their right shoulder.

Schebler was made to exit Saturday's 8-2 win on the MLB The Show 18 Stubs Cardinals after he collided together with the wall to create a catch, and although initial X-rays returned negative, Wednesday's diagnosis forced the club's hand.

It has not been known how much time Schebler is expected to become out.

A corresponding roster move are going to be made previous to Friday night's game from the Pirates at Great American Ball Park. This season, Schebler is batting .278/.351/.470 with 12 home runs and 37 RBIs. But he was batting .319 as part of his last 36 games going time for May 30.

With Schebler out, the Reds' four-man outfield rotation can have three regulars with Jesse Winker likely to find the bulk with Cheap MLB 18 Stubs the playing in time right field.

Wednesday's move marks Schebler's second trip on the DL this coming year. He missed 10 games in April with the ulnar nerve contusion within his right elbow after he was hit using a pitch from your Nationals' Sean Doolittle.
