Popular and OSRS Gold long-running online video game franchise RuneScape is now available for tabletop gaming with two brand new games that will be launched later this year. Jagex, has joined forces with the tabletop gaming powerhouse Steamforged Games to create both an online game and a tabletop game of roleplaying that is that is inspired by the rich fantasy realm of Gielinor.

The two games will launch in 2022 The board game being launched through Kickstarter along with the TTRPG heading straight to stores. The games will be based on places, characters, and adventures from the RuneScape's 21-year long history, with the board game taking between one to five players in quest-based quests through Gielinor.

They'll design and build equipment, train their characters, cook special recipes, interact with NPCs, and test their skills exploring various regions of the world. There are a variety of enticing side quests designed to divert and amuse them along the way.

The TTRPG will be a stunningly illustrated, hardback, core book that includes guidelines for players who want to play the RuneScape tabletop role-playing game in which they can build their own characters, explore Gielinor and develop unique and thrilling quests. The TTRPG core book is also completely compatible with rules of fifth edition of the tabletop roleplaying game.

Phil Mansell, CEO of Jagex, said "After the past 21+ years of being only accessible online I'm extremely excited to work with Steamforged to develop and bring new RuneScape game-playing adventures to gamers on tablestops."

Mat Hart, Creative director and CCO of Steamforged, said: "The rich RuneScape universe is a perfect fit for tabletop and board games and using crowdfunding platforms as well as other dedicated community spaces will let us engage directly with players of RuneScape or Old School RuneScape throughout development."

Steamforged Games also released the first image the main features of its Dark Souls tabletop roleplaying game due to launch in the spring of 2022. The game was first teased in December, with an unexpected trailer launch Steamforged is now able to confirm Dark Souls: The Roleplaying Game is a stand-alone RPG powered by fifth-edition rules which are enhanced with Dark Souls mechanics.

Drawing on the rich lore and award-winning gameplay of Dark Souls video games by From Software and Bandai Namco Entertainment in the extravagantly illustrated, hardback book, players will find custom character classes along with a brand-new system of magic and a comprehensive bestiary teeming with Dark Souls creatures.

To date, Steamforged's Dark Souls tabletop range has sold over 500,000 units with a combined retail value of almost $40m.
